March 2020 AVM Newsletter

Dear Friends,

Back in 1925, an upper respiratory disease had begun killing young children in the village of Nome, on the western coast of Alaska.  The whole town was put under quarantine while the only doctor in town tried to come up with a treatment plan.  You can read about that in the attached letter.  I wrote this before our present day Covid-19 virus had reached Alaska, so I had to add news about how it has impacted our work here now, as of March 26.

May the Lord keep you safe,

Randy
